Wild and sensual, Barbarella is a curious and enterprising girl, she comes from the planet Lythion in the year 40,000 AD, she is a space traveler commissioned by the Prime Minister of the Earth to find the scientist Durand Durand, inventor of the deadly positronic ray. Barbarella always successfully faces criminals and monsters of all races, even managing to free planets oppressed by dictatorships.
