In Italy and in Spain the jellyfish bears the name of “Medusa”.

In the water, the jellyfish is a living creature that looks like a flower or a flower that looks like a living creature, a flower that has grown and opened in the water and has the movements and breaths of a living creature. (Fabrizio Caramagna)

According to some studies there is a species that is potentially immortal because it is able to rejuvenate more and more until it starts a new cycle of life. Generally it represents a stage of the life cycle which, after reproduction, ends with the formation of a polyp.  Polyps transform into various types of corals … the coral reef builders….That’s incredible!
